We played around with the GoPro RC Hero on-board video camera that I picked up at Hobby People. I mounted it onto my Hobbico Electristar and took her up for a test. Wow, the overall quality of this little camera is exceptional. The camera, the water proof case and the mounting system have to be the best on the market for hassle free installation on an R/C airplane. It is a bit pricey but the quality is well worth it. The RC Hero is a 5 megapixel camera with 170º wide-angle lens and comes with a waterproof/shockproof clear polycarbonate housing and quick-release mounting brackets.
